Senior Full Stack Engineer (React, Node.js, AWS)
Location: UK (Remote) - Full Time.

The Role
The company is not looking for a traditional DevOps engineer or a siloed frontend developer. They are seeking a true Full Stack Engineer who is also a systems-thinker.
The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of a small, high-performance team, responsible for designing, building, and deploying the core of the platform. This role requires an engineer who can move fluidly across the stack—from architecting a new microservice in Node.js to building a beautiful, performant user interface in React and Next.js, all while managing the AWS infrastructure it runs on.
The ideal candidate is a "builder" who not only writes proficient application code but also understands the underlying architecture, data layer, and infrastructure required to make it scalable and resilient.
What This Role Involves
* 🏗️ Architecting & Building: Designing, developing, and deploying new services and features across the entire stack (React, Next.js, Node.js).
* ☁️ Platform Ownership: Taking ownership of the AWS infrastructure, ensuring services are scalable, reliable, and secure.
* 💾 Data Layer Management: Being hands-on with databases, responsible for design, management, and optimization.
* 🛠️ Improving Developer Velocity: Building and maintaining the tools, CI/CD pipelines, and systems that make the entire engineering team more productive.
* 🤝 Collaboration: Working directly with the founders and product team to shape the technical roadmap and make critical architectural decisions.
What They're Looking For
* ✅ Full Stack Proficiency: Several years of hands-on experience building complex applications with React (or similar) and Node.js.
* 🚀 Modern Frontend: Deep experience with Next.js and its paradigms (SSR, SSG, ISR).
* ☁️ Cloud Native: Strong, practical experience with AWS. Comfortable managing infrastructure as well as applications.
* 🏛️ Architecture Mindset: A background in making key architectural decisions and an ability to discuss the "why" behind those choices. Someone who designs systems, not just consumes tasks.
* 💾 Database Knowledge: Proven experience with database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB), not just using an ORM.
* 💡 Start-Up Ready: A personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is driven to take ownership.
