Role Responsibilites:
Responsible for software development, maintenance, modification and replacement.
Providing customer liaison for the support of software development.
Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management.
Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
Solves technical and non-technical problems throughout the life of the project, but tries to resolve problems during the design and planning phases whenever possible.
Oversees and coordinates work performed by outside contractors.
Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users and management. Participates in budget development and evaluating how project plan changes impact cost and schedule.
May be responsible for feasibility studies and field trials management. Issues stop-work order when adverse risk is identified.
Typically incumbents would be working towards or have achieved Project management certification
Required skills, qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Proven Track Record in Programme Delivery in a Agile environment.
Prince 2 qualified (or equivalent) with experience of operating in Prince 2 Management environments, with Strong track record in the planning and delivery of challenging projects against tight timelines.
Extensive experience working in a collaborative environments and a track record in strong internal relationships.
Ability to develop customer intimacy quickly at all levels.
Strong presentation skills.
Solid understanding of engineering and financial processes.
Subcontract Management experience.
The ability to adapt behaviours and communication style which is reflective of different stakeholders and audiences.
Pro-active with strong self-motivation.
Desired Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Previous experience in security domains.
APMP qualified.
Agile / Scrum trained.
DevSecOps Experience.
ITIL qualified and experienced.
