About the role
The Wellbeing Delivery Manager (WDM) will lead the delivery of a diverse programme of wellbeing services, helping us achieve our purpose, which is to deliver positive wellbeing support to our members, branches, volunteers and beneficiaries. This role is a key leadership and management function, responsible for a team that delivers effective and impactful services. You will be leading the team ensuring products are resilient, well supported and effectively promoted across our branch network and RAF Stations.
Primary responsibilities
* Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of a designated programme of wellbeing products and services, including our online platforms for ‘Finding it Tough?’ and ‘Navigating Dementia’ and services such as Doodlepacks, Five Ways to Wellbeing and our Community Grants Programme.
* Supports the creation and evolution of service strategies, objectives and roadmaps
* Manage the Wellbeing team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration and partnerships
* Manage expenditure within agreed operational budgets
* Manage and coordinate input into the business plan providing a comprehensive view of the programme and deliverables.
* Co-ordinate operational leads for representation at RAF community events and presentations.
* Presenting to and engaging regularly with a wide range of stakeholders including serving personnel at station events and peers across the military charity sector.
About you
Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience in the wellbeing services field, you will have experience of change management and a passion to introduce new systems and procedures to improve project delivery. Resourceful, innovative and self-motivated, you will have the ability to lead your team to deliver impactful results against challenging targets. Experience of managing budgets, KPI reporting and using data is essential for this role. As an Ambassador of the Association, you will be hands-on facilitating and presenting at meetings, events and strategic sessions to a wide variety of stakeholders.
