The Customer Support Administrator at GB Railfreight works closely with the Intermodal Customer Service Team and Delivery Manager to ensure that our trains are filled to maximum capacity by undertaking commercial administrative duties.
Responsibilities include:
1. Liaising with customers to ensure bookings are placed on the system, customers are issued with relevant reference numbers, and receive confirmation of arrivals and departures. Stock management as per customer requirements is also required.
2. Managing, organising, and updating data on various systems including but not limited to destin8, TOPS, Paris, COMA, and SCORPIO.
3. Interrogating data on live systems and reviewing train lists to compare bookings versus actual delivery.
4. Identifying container issues and raising them with relevant parties for timely resolution.
5. Planning the movement of containers from road haulage to third-party depots.
6. Managing additional charge notifications where necessary.
7. Uploading interchange reports and attaching them to the correct files.
Candidate requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate and timely bookings.
* Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
* Strong communication skills for dealing with customer and supplier requests.
* Experience in railway operations and TOPS is desirable but full training will be provided.
