Financial Planner – All high worth clients provided!
Location: Central London
Due to continued expansion, we have been retained by a prestigious boutique Wealth Planning firm, with an in-house DFM team, to recruit an ambitious Financial Planner.
All clients will be provided, which are mass affluent or UHNW and you will not be required to move clients over or self-generate new clients. The firm has some incredible propositions and exclusive cash management facilities, that enable its clients to safely maximize their portfolio value and at the same time increase the revenue within your client bank.
The added benefit to this role is you will have support and mentorship from a Director, to assist in the handover of the clients to you.
Responsibilities
1. Managing an existing client bank of circa 80-100 clients
2. Targeting the acquisition of new clients for the Firm through Business Development activities; proactively representing the business and taking the initiative to meet new potential clients
3. Contacting clients that are currently unengaged with their service, rebuilding the relationship through financial planning advice
4. Work with investment managers to identify opportunities for existing clients
5. Actively refer clients and prospects to other services and specialisms offered
6. Service clients on an ongoing basis, conducting annual reviews and ensuring that the client remains on track to achieve their objectives
7. Carry out all activities in a compliant manner in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
8. Deliver on agreed objectives promptly; prioritize workload; remain professional under pressure
9. Communicate clearly and accurately with clients and colleagues; maintain accurate records; utilize technology effectively
10. Provide excellent customer service, finding solutions aligned with TCF principles; use feedback to improve service
11. Maintain high productivity, strive for continual improvement, understand individual contribution to corporate goals, and adapt to change positively
12. Share knowledge and support team goals; be cooperative and supportive of colleagues
13. Deliver financial advice in an understandable manner to ensure client satisfaction and retention
14. Participate actively in knowledge sharing within the team
15. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial services market
16. Manage each client relationship sustainably and profitably, addressing issues promptly and appropriately
Experience / Qualifications
* Must hold the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) qualification
* Previous experience in providing financial planning advice to clients
* Experience in business development and growing a client book
