Role and Team
Do you have the motivation and drive to join the neurodevelopmental team in Specialist Children’s Services, West Dunbartonshire locality? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional clinician to lead the operational delivery of a specialist service for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions across West Dunbartonshire. We are looking to recruit a forward thinking individual who has experience of working within a CAMHS or paediatric context. This person will support the management and development of locality multidisciplinary teams engaging in neurodevelopmental assessment, post diagnostic intervention and providing support and consultancy across the wider children’s services system. The post holder will also develop strong relationships and collaborate with our partners in health, education, social services and the 3rd sector. The post holder will work across CAMHS and Specialist Community Paediatrics Teams.
Responsibilities
* Lead the operational delivery of a specialist neurodevelopmental service for children and young people in West Dunbartonshire.
* Support the management and development of locality multidisciplinary teams involved in neurodevelopmental assessment, post-diagnostic intervention, and consultancy across children’s services.
* Develop strong relationships with partners in health, education, social services and the third sector.
* Collaborate across CAMHS and Specialist Community Paediatrics Teams to enable effective assessment and care.
* Work with the Service Manager and locality CAMHS and Paediatric leads to continue developing the service for effective assessment and care.
* Support clinical governance and ensure appropriate supervision systems for a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians.
Qualifications and Experience
* Professional registration required.
* Management or leadership experience.
* Significant experience in working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences.
Training and Development
Training and support for your professional development will be provided and regular supervision and evidence-based practice are part of the role.
