As a Visual Designer, you will work closely alongside our Head Graphic Designer to create visually compelling and user-focused materials that enhance the experience of our products. A key part of your role will involve contributing to new product ranges. You will design setup guides, functional usage instructions for dash cams, and artwork for web and app interfaces while ensuring all user manuals are accurate, up-to-date, and translated appropriately for global markets. This role demands creativity, attention to detail, and strong project management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with our Head Graphic Designer to ensure alignment with the overall design vision and brand guidelines.
* Design clear and engaging setup guides and functional usage instructions for new and existing product ranges.
* Create visually appealing artwork for websites, apps, and other digital platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand identity.
* Write, format, and maintain user manuals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with product specifications.
* Oversee and manage the translation of all user manuals into multiple languages, coordinating with translation teams or tools as required.
* Liaise with engineering teams to verify technical specifications and product features for inclusion in documentation and guides.
* Develop and uphold brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all visual and written assets.
* Assist in designing materials for upcoming product launches and future product ranges.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills and Experience
* 2-5 years Industry Experience
* Confident use of Adobe Creative Cloud; extended knowledge mainly in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
* A good or extensive knowledge of Figma.
* A bonus if there is a desire to expand or already have a level of knowledge in 3D design.
* The ideal candidate is organised, self-managed, and comfortable working within established brand guidelines while still bringing creative problem-solving skills to the table. Any new design solutions would be reviewed and approved by the Lead Graphic Designer and the Head of Marketing, then added to our library and brand standards.
