A leading renewable energy investment and asset management business is looking to appoint a Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of the operational and financial performance of a diverse portfolio of renewable assets.
This is a senior, influential role for an experienced asset manager who thrives at the intersection of performance optimisation, commercial decision-making and stakeholder leadership.
The Opportunity
The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for maximising asset value across wind, solar and emerging technologies. The role combines hands-on asset oversight with strategic leadership, financial control and team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and optimise the operational performance of renewable energy assets
* Develop and deliver performance improvement strategies
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cash flow management
* Oversee O&M and service contracts and manage key suppliers and partners
* Identify and mitigate operational, financial and regulatory risks
* Ensure full compliance with permits, regulations and industry standards
* Deliver clear, insightful reporting to senior management and investors
* Lead, mentor and develop an asset management team
* Drive innovation through improved systems, tools and processes
About the Candidate
* Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Renewable Energy or similar
* Minimum 5 years' asset management experience, including 3+ years in renewables
* Proven track record managing wind and/or solar assets
* Strong commercial and financial capability, including budgeting and modelling
* Deep understanding of renewable technologies and O&M practices
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Proven leader able to manage complexity and multiple priorities
