Resource Planner - VIVID

Location: Basingstoke. Employment type: Full-time, permanent. Hours: 37 per week. You will be in the office 4 days a week with the planning team.
Interviews are due to take place on Monday 15 September and Wednesday 17 September (subject to change).
Responsibilities
* Be a helpful point of contact for customers, contractors and trades staff (mostly by phone).
* Ensure effective scheduling of appointments for repairs and maintenance using the appointment scheduling system and mobile working solutions in accordance with corporate standards and VIVID procedures.
* Ensure appointments are attended and completed within set timescales; reschedule as needed and keep customers informed.
* Provide information to enable managers to monitor compliance with corporate and legislative timelines and standards.
* Ensure services comply with applicable legislation, professional standards, and VIVID’s values, standards, policies and priorities.
* Monitor diaries to maximise resource utilisation; liaise with other planning teams to use trades staff from other areas when needed.
* Be proficient with computer programmes and able to learn new systems quickly; raise, close and amend jobs on the bespoke system; assist trades staff with troubleshooting on handheld devices.
* Multi-task and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment; maintain calm and professional conduct, especially when liaising with customers.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills with a polite yet assertive telephone manner; handle challenging customers confidently.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in a similar planning or scheduling role in a busy, customer-focused environment.
* Awareness of or experience in the social housing sector.
