MBDA is a leading defence organisation. The role is for a Project Manager to join the Industrial Transfer Team and deliver complex manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Accomplished Project Manager with a proven track record in the delivery of fixed‑cost programmes within a matrix organisation.
* Operate effectively in a matrix or cross‑functional environment, interfacing and influencing customers and suppliers and briefing senior management.
* Manage project scope, identify deviations and negotiate changes and their impact on the overall project.
* Identify risks and opportunity trends within cost, schedule and quality data and formulate plans to mitigate risk and deliver opportunities.
* Prioritise objectives and manage day‑to‑day tactical actions.
* Construct and maintain project plans and be familiar with project planning software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
* Compile bids and estimates based on previous products or collaborate with design and engineering teams on new product definitions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation.
* Maintain a strong working relationship with Manufacturing Industrial Transfer Engineers.
* Act as the main point of contact for Industrial Transfer projects for all stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with teams throughout the UK and internationally.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Good command of Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience within an engineering or production environment is preferred.
* Experience of production transfer projects.
* Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a detail‑oriented, proactive approach.

Salary & Working Conditions
* Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience.
* Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2–3 days per week on site.
* Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship; all successful candidates will undergo BPSS checks.
