Position Overview
We are recruiting an experienced CNC miller to join our team in Great Baddow, working on small‑batch and prototype components. You will manufacture and program high‑precision aerospace and lab demonstrator parts using 3‑axis CNC milling machines and CAD/CAM software.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture small batch / prototype and production components ranging from highly accurate aerospace parts to lab demonstrator items.
* Program, set and run 3‑axis CNC milling machines using CAD/CAM software and the machine control interface.
* Operate manual milling machines and lathes as required.
* Work independently, demonstrating initiative and flexibility within a small team.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Experienced CNC milling machinist.
* Proficient in programming and operating different machine tools, including manual milling machines and lathes.
* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent) or higher.
* Apprentice training background.
Desirable
* 3D CAD/CAM programming experience.
* Strong problem‑solving skills.
