We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious five-star, 17th-century luxury estate in the North Yorkshire countryside. We are seeking a self-motivated management trainee to rotate through all operational departments of this world-class property.
Overview
This role offers a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to luxury hotel management. You will work alongside managers in Food & Beverage outlets, Event Spaces, Rooms, and Guest Experience to gain the skills necessary for a career in elite hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
* Rotate across all operational departments to gain comprehensive management experience.
* Coordinate communication between departments regarding bookings and high-profile events.
* Ensure all guest products and services meet five-star luxury standards.
* Take ownership of stock tracking, replenishment, and organization.
* Proactively manage guest feedback and resolve complaints with professional excellence.
* Identify upselling opportunities to drive revenue generation across the business.
* Support team training and development initiatives.
* Forward plan for upcoming events, ensuring equipment and stock are prepared in advance.
Key Skills, Qualities & Experience
* Previous experience in a Food and Beverage setting is desirable.
* Basic Wine & Beverage knowledge is an advantage.
* Confident, self-motivated, and able to maintain a professional outlook under pressure.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a strong customer service ethos.
* Positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and grow.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
* Monthly service charge (typically £2,400 annually).
