Job Description
Cammach are currently recruiting a Systems Accountant on behalf of our client, an independent oil & gas operator. The role will be on a 6-month contract and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
ROLE
Provide Masterdata support to the Corporate ERP systems, creating and maintaining system masterdata whilst ensuring data integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct SAP Support
* Ongoing support and maintenance of finance masterdata within SAP including, amongst others:
* Business partners
* GL accounts
* Profit centres
* JV equity groups
Cost Centres & WBS Elements
* Ensuring data integrity by employing and displaying robust process and controls
* Raising awareness of key cross-functional interdependencies of masterdata across systems and associated masterdata attributes
* Performing system functional integrity testing where appropriate
* Internal and external audit support as required
Other Activities
* Undertake Master data support role for Wintershall Dea systems
* Administrative support for regular user account and control reviews
* Administration for finance peripheral systems
* Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree qualified and with recognised accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
* Excellent accountant or qualified by experience with proven track record
* Strong analytical skills
* Experience of SAP masterdata is preferred
* Strong MS Office skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals at all levels in the organisation
* Focus on service delivery to business and functions
* Flexible and responsive to stakeholder requirements and changing environment
* Ability to deliver high quality work by deadlines and work effectively under time pressure
