Salary: £90 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and skills)
Contract: Full-time, 5 days a week
Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join our team in a secondary school. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students, starting in January 2025. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and help them build strong Maths skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, following the national curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
Work closely with other teachers to improve the Maths curriculum and share ideas.
Support students in developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject (or equivalent).
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred, but not essential).
Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 level.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
A passion for teaching and helping students succeed in Maths.
