Join Barclays as a Business Analyst (Banking), where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Core Banking Platform team. Operating within a hybrid delivery model, you’ll work across both Agile and traditional methodologies while collaborating closely with third‑party suppliers. Your work will help ensure the resilience, performance, and continuous evolution of systems at the heart of Barclays’ operations.

Responsibilities
* Partner with Value Streams to enable successful product delivery, contributing to delivery and ongoing maintenance of critical technical capabilities such as platform upgrades and enhancements across core banking platforms.
* Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
* Develop business requirements to address business problems and opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
* Support creation of business cases and feasibility studies to justify and evaluate proposed solutions.
* Support creation of reports on project progress, operational design, and process design to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
* Support change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix.
Qualifications
* Considerable Business Analysis experience, ideally within Core Banking platforms, with knowledge of products such as Savings and Loans and experience delivering change across complex, integrated banking systems.
* Proven ability to define and document business and system requirements, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria, across both Agile and traditional delivery approaches.
* Experience delivering technical and platform change (e.g. system upgrades and enhancements) across the full delivery lifecycle, producing system documentation and supporting production of detailed solution design alongside stakeholders, engineering, architecture and third‑party suppliers.
Desirable Skills
* Ability to work effectively across teams, including business and technology stakeholders and third‑party suppliers.
* Experience coaching or mentoring analysts, contributing to continuous improvement of BA practices, standards and processes.
* Experience working within a regulated environment, with understanding of risk, control and compliance.
