Audit Assistant Manager Opportunity

A highly respected accountancy practice is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join its dynamic and friendly team. This role offers a unique chance to advance your career while honing your skills in a supportive environment.
About the Role

Responsibilities
* Lead teams on a variety of audit assignments
* Manage statutory audits from planning through to completion
* Ensure audits are completed within the agreed budget
* Act as the principal contact for clients during on-site fieldwork
* Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
* Supervise audit teams on site, review their work, and contribute to the development of junior team members
* Manage assurance and risk management projects, liaising with clients and preparing client reports
Qualifications
* ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1-2 years post-qualified experience
* Significant experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards
Required Skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience in managing and nurturing junior team members
