Reporting to the Grocery Director and as a key part of one of our Sales team, this role will be responsible for leading the interface between the Company and customers, and the achievement of Company sales, share and profit goals, including maintaining and developing the growth of our brands. This is a demanding role which will require drive, ambition, and enthusiasm, combined with a high level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, forecasting and commercial awareness; as well as the ability to drive high levels of Customer intimacy and influencing. A key aspect of this role will be the daily interaction with other functions within the business, applicants will need to demonstrate success in working as part of a cross functional team.
Key Responsibilities
Focusing on the branded business, this role will have the following responsibilities:
• Drive sales, market share and profitability for our brands in key Grocery customers.
• Deliver financial and volume forecast accuracy on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develop and execute tailored plans to deliver against KPIs for Yoplait and for the customer as part of our ongoing business partnership together.
• Lead commercial negotiations including, but not limited to joint business planning (JBP), pricing, trade terms and promotional funding.
• Strong collaboration internally with other functions including, category team, brand/shopper marketing, supply chain and commercial finance.
• Demonstrate strong account fundamentals including forecast accuracy, trade spend management, EPOS reporting, JBP management and market performance tracking.
• Play a pivotal leadership role within the wider grocery team supporting the delivery of the overall sales strategy, promotional analysis, customer relationships and bringing the category/brand story to life.
• Implement plans focused on excellent execution, liaising with key contacts within the Customer and internally.
• Work as part of the cross functional team to develop Customer intimacy.
