We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw campus to join our Foundation Learning Department as Head of Safeguarding and Pastoral Support on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis. Key role responsibilities and experience: Must have experience of leading Safeguarding arrangements in an Education setting i.e. as a Designated Professional with operational responsibility for safeguarding Exceptional knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable students with unmet safeguarding or pastoral support needs Must have credibility in assessing and advising safeguarding/pastoral matters and providing effective supervision for safeguarding and pastoral themes Significant experience of managing safeguarding and pastoral risk factors and the provision of effective 'Early Help' Evidence of strong influencing of multi-agency partners and peer relationships Ability to use datasets and key performance information to produce detailed reports and management informationSite Information Our Openshaw campus is a vibrant, modern hub of learning, equipped with outstanding, industry-standard facilities designed to inspire both staff and students.
