Teaching Assistant – SEN (Full-Time, Immediate Start)

This setting provides a nurturing, structured environment for pupils aged 4 to 18 with a range of Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), complex needs, and associated behavioural or physical challenges.
Role & Responsibilities
* Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access learning
* Assist with literacy, numeracy and communication activities
* Encourage engagement, independence and positive behaviour
* Provide personal care and mobility support where required
* Help create a safe, stimulating classroom environment
* Work closely with teachers and therapists to meet individual needs
Working Hours & Pay
* Hours: 8.40am to 4.30pm
* Pay: £14.25 per hour
* Interviews taking place in May 2026
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 6 months childcare experience (essential)
* Experience supporting children with SEN highly desirable
* Patient, adaptable and committed approach
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
