Clinical Applications Specialist – Diagnostics (UK – National Role)
Ideally based: Birmingham / South UK
Up to £60,000 (maybe some slight flexibiltiy) + bonus + car allowance
We’re supporting an innovative diagnostics business operating within the point-of-care testing space, delivering rapid, near-patient blood analysis technology used directly within hospital environments.
This is a national Clinical Applications role, ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of clinical practice, technology, and customer engagement.
The role:
* Delivering hands-on clinical training to surgeons, nurses, and laboratory teams
* Supporting installations, go-lives, and product rollouts across NHS and private hospitals
* Acting as the clinical and technical expert for customers in the field
* Supporting product demonstrations, evaluations, and trials alongside the commercial team
* Providing ongoing support to ensure adoption, confidence, and clinical value

* Technical background is essential
* Engineer (medical / field service) OR
* Clinical Applications Specialist working with technical / diagnostic / capital equipment
* Comfortable working within:
* Operating theatres
* ICU / acute care environments
* Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence clinical stakeholders
* Open to a national role with regular travel
