Reporting to the Direct Works Manageryou will provide an efficient customer focused service, undertaking a range of plumbing repairs and improvement works for Direct Works Services clients. You will also provide plumbing works within the Associations own stock working on the kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes and medical adaptation wet/shower rooms programme. As well as plumbing work, experience in a range of other handyperson type work (painting, tiling for example) would be an advantage.
The post holder must be self-motivated and confident with an approved trade qualification, using trade skills in a trade discipline with an awareness of current legislative and health and safety working practices. You should display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a small repairs team to ensure successful delivery of a quality small repair, maintenance, and improvement service. (A full driving licence is essential for this post).
