Responsibilities Oversee the development and deployment of our highly-regarded client programme, Skills For Future Facing Teams, to new heights
* Consult with GCs and Heads of Legal of our client organisations about their teams' challenges and development priorities.
* Keep ahead of wider trends and thinking in relation to leadership in professional services and source new external trainers where appropriate.
* Liaise with our panel of external skills consultants and CMS facilitators and manage the Client Training Budget.
* Programme our schedule of monthly webinars, reflecting in-house priorities and the latest leadership development topics.
* Develop targeted programmes to support clients at different career stages.
* Coordinate content for and host organisation-specific training events – whether online (eg by Teams) or in person (for example, team offsites hosted at a CMS office).
* Promote awareness of the programme within CMS and support colleagues (partners, associates and the BD team) to use the programme more strategically to enhance client relationships.
* Respond to requests from clients and from CMS colleagues about the training available to clients.
* There is also the potential to become involved in some training delivery where appropriate – for example, leading ice-breakers, facilitating discussions, and to develop training repertoire etc.
* Location: This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work partly from home and partly from any of our UK offices. However, most in-person events take place in the London office, and the successful candidate would be expected to work in London on the day of those events. For candidates based outside London, travel and accommodation costs would be provided. In person events (typically 1-2 per month) are organised well in advance, so there is plenty of time to plan.
