Quality Assurance Manager

And where you can use your judgment and risk-based thinking to support Thales programs through many different decisions during the project lifecycle?
If so, we’d love to hear from you as we’re currently looking for Quality Assurance Managers to join our team in Templecombe.

* Hybrid working (3 days on-site per week)
* Support for formal certified training, e.g., lead auditor training, and CQI membership paid for by us
What your day looks like:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be involved in:
* Planning and performing project audits and surveillance activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plans and audit strategy
* Acting as the customer’s representative inside the project or bid team, maximizing customer satisfaction and supporting actions
* Managing and analyzing reports to continually improve quality within the project, ensuring quality performance is managed and reported to meet project timelines
* Encouraging and developing best practices, promoting a quality culture, and fostering continuous improvement
About you:
Ideally, you’ll:
* Have proven experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance Manager, preferably within engineering or manufacturing environments
* Possess detailed knowledge of current quality practices and standards, such as ISO9001 / AS9100
* Have an understanding of the engineering lifecycle (desirable)
* Experience working within a project structure and managing work packages (desirable)
* Be a qualified auditor or have similar experience
* Be an excellent communicator, collaborator, and influencer to build relationships and promote quality with stakeholders
* Be a member of or working towards membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (desirable)
