Role Responsibilities
As an MOT Tester / Automotive Technician, your duties will include:
* Conducting MOT tests in line with current DVSA regulations
* Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults using dealer-level diagnostics
* Ensuring all work meets manufacturer safety and quality standards
* Accurately completing digital job cards and inspection reports
* Supporting workshop efficiency and maintaining high productivity
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
* Valid MOT Tester licence (essential for MOT duties)
* Experience within a main dealer or busy workshop environment
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
* High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
