Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Optometrist based in two practices in Derby and one in Kimberley (however if you don't wish to move around, we can accommodate this). The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing continuity of care. The Optometrist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. If you haven't done any punctual plugging, optomap or glaucoma wor, don't worry we'll guide you all the way Out test times are 40 mins, so we would like an Optom who loves to really care and communicate with patients.
Qualifications
* GOC registered Optometrist
* Professional certificate in glaucoma would be great but not essential
* Knowledge of OCT and optomap (not necessary as training provided)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to provide continuity of care and build relationships with patients
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in eye care
