Job title: Digital Manufacturing Engineer - Supply chain & Civils
We anticipate offering a salary of between £42,000 and £60,000
Location: Manchester, Warrington, or Derby - Hybrid working options available

We are now recruiting for the role of Digital Manufacturing Engineer - Supply chain & Civils, to develop meaningful relationships with some of the largest entities across the globe and work on groundbreaking technology.
Job Purpose:
To support data transfer, establish data standards, and standardise digital language across the RR SMR value chain, including CAD geometry, specifications, procedures, and associated manufacturing documents and data.
Assist in building maturity and continuous improvement of digital systems covering people, processes, information, and tools to prepare for production and implementation across the entire RR SMR value chain.
Collaborate with Design, ME, Supply Chain, Operations, and SMR IT teams to improve digital systems supporting manufacturing technology, design information, process execution, and site operations.
Key Results & What Can Be Achieved in The Role:
Successful delivery of digital projects on time and within budget, influencing SMR IT to meet programme milestones, and supporting manufacturing and assembly of SMR modules.
Operational support for digital systems across RR SMR facilities, supply chain, and partners, including demonstrator programs to mature manufacturing technologies and practices.
The Key Selection Criteria:
Criteria 1: Proven ability to develop, deploy, and support manufacturing digital systems in a supply chain environment, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Criteria 2: Commitment to product and process safety, ensuring compliance with legislation and professional standards.
Criteria 3: Experience in project planning, monitoring, control, and effective communication of complex technical information.
Criteria 4: Ability to gather and validate user requirements, define system interfaces and data flows, and describe business implications for digital manufacturing system implementations.
Criteria 5: Strong team collaboration skills, including working with external partners and suppliers.
Qualifications & Training:
* Experience applying digital tools within supply chains or construction industries.
* Professional engineering qualification (e.g., UK HND/foundation degree or equivalent).
* Experience in regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, defense, or pharma.
* Knowledge of export control regulations.
Pay and Benefits:
Salary between £42,000 and £60,000 plus:
* Performance bonus up to 12.5%
* Benefits allowance for creating a bespoke package
* 12% employer and 6% employee pension contributions
* 28 days holiday plus public holidays, with options to buy or sell holiday days
* Private medical insurance (BUPA)
* One-off payment for home office equipment for new starters
