HR Officer – Education Sector Location: Leeds - hyrbrid (after probation) Salary: £30,000 - £33,366 Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, all year round We are seeking a confident and proactive HR Advisor/HR Officer to join a forward-thinking academy in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic, student-focused environment while supporting the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be the go-to person for all HR matters on-site. You will be instrumental in promoting a positive, inclusive culture and providing high-quality support in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, and training. Key responsibilities include: Advising on and administering safer recruitment practices Supporting ER cases, including absence and performance management Delivering induction and onboarding programmes Supporting training and development initiatives Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes Promoting employee wellbeing and engagement You’ll bring a collaborative approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and the confidence to coach and support managers across a broad range of HR issues. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and a calm, solution-focused mindset.
