We’re on the lookout for a Section Engineer to join our dynamic Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Culham, Oxfordshire. You’ll be working on the exciting Thames Water Framework, contributing to vital infrastructure projects!

Location: Culham, Oxfordshire
Hours: 45 hours per week – we offer some flexibility, so just let us know what works for you!

Your Responsibilities
As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the engineering and technical compliance of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing focused engineering support and technical assurance, coordinating between design, delivery, and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and on time.
* Interpreting design documentation and ensuring works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
* Supporting construction teams with technical queries, resolving design conflicts, and driving value engineering initiatives.
* Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and approvals in line with site requirements and program.
* Monitoring and recording construction progress, providing accurate technical input for project reporting and planning.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* An HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline.
* Practical experience in infrastructure or wastewater construction projects, focusing on engineering assurance.
* The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and design packages.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for technical details and site coordination.
* A working knowledge of construction methods, health and safety legislation, and site quality procedures.
* A CSCS card and a full driving license.
* Proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
