The role:
With YoY growth of over 660% in Grocery, making us the UK’s No.1 premium RTD brand, we are now looking for an enthusiastic, proactive salesperson to further expand MOTH’s presence in UK convenience & impulse.
You’ll be the touchpoint for some of MOTH’s highest growth convenience, impulse, Q-comm, and forecourt accounts. Your aim is to get the UK’s leading premium canned cocktails into exciting new retail locations. Using your love for selling, your commercial acumen, and your creative problem solving, you’ll thrive on creating strong relationships quickly and using those relationships to build the brand.
Alongside the Off-Trade team, you will be working with members of Supply Chain and Trade Marketing to ensure these accounts are won, grown, and maintained to the highest standard and maximizing all feasible opportunities. Within the role, you will get highly valuable exposure to the execution of a dynamic SME growth strategy and the planning, execution, and analysis of MOTH’s key retail marketing activities whilst working alongside a world class team with a phenomenal culture.
We’re taking premium canned cocktails to new regions, shops, and missions in-store and this role plays a crucial part of delivering that exciting growth.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll be the face of MOTH for our existing wholesale, convenience and Q-comm customers; ensuring that MOTH is maximising all commercially viable growth opportunities
* Growing the convenience/impulse channel to replicate MOTH’s incredible Grocery growth
* Executing the new business plan as set by the Grocery Manager, measuring success against revenue and profit targets
* Working alongside marketing to build the brand in independent and convenience retail outlets, some of MOTH’s most regular and valuable touchpoints
* Spending time out in-store with your customers becoming the expert in how brands can sell best in that space
* Thinking outside the box to think of innovative ways to get MOTH front of mind for customers on the go
* Work cross-departmentally with Supply Chain and Marketing to make sure your retail customers are maximising sales on all planned opportunities
* Presenting new & exciting branded opportunities back to the wider Off-Trade team
* 1-2 years' sales experience
* Confidence in speaking to new people and approaching new customers
* People orientatedand a first class relationship builder
* Driven by selling and the prospect of achieving number targets
* Self-starting but comfortable asking for guidance and support
