Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all internal payroll activity across multiple offices for approximately 500 staff
* Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of payrolls across the group
* Oversee pensions, auto‑enrolment, and benefits administration
* Drive consistency, efficiency, and process improvement across systems
* Partner closely with HR and Finance on payroll strategy and alignment
* Provide reporting, analysis, and insights to senior management
* Act as the payroll subject matter expert across the group
What We Are Looking For
* Deep understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance
* Strong experience managing multiple or complex payrolls
* Confident communicator with senior stakeholders
* Organised, analytical, and detail‑focused
* Ideally CIPP qualified or working towards it
* Comfortable with systems integration and payroll process improvement
* Professional services or multi‑site background would be an advantage
