About the role
As our Marketplace Manager, you will own trading across UK & Ireland marketplaces for both A-grade and B-grade (refurbished) Dyson products. Drive profitable growth by managing current partners and unlocking new opportunities, while shaping and executing our full B-grade commercial strategy.
You will work cross-functionally with eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Care to deliver strong commercial results and maintain Dyson’s premium presence.
Key responsibilities include:
Marketplace Trading (A-grade):
 * Hit volume, revenue, and margin targets in A-grade marketplaces (e.g., Debenhams) and lead expansion.
 * Manage trading cycle: forecasting, stock, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and platform experience.
 * Build and strengthen partner relationships; drive quarterly business reviews and joint plans.
 * Identify and secure new A-grade channels aligned with our brand.
B-Grade Trading (Refurbishment):
 * Lead B-grade strategy; achieve profit and inventory goals across marketplaces like eBay.
 * Grow and manage the full B-grade partner ecosystem, from marketing to supply planning.
 * Build new sales channels and collaborate closely with the refurbishment team.
 * Optimise forecasting, inventory, and commercial negotiations.
Operational Excellence:
 * Ensure smooth, compliant trading with internal teams.
 * Use data insights and reporting tools (like PowerBI, Tableau) to refine strategy and performance.
 * Present results, spot risks and opportunities, and bring fresh market ideas to Dyson.
About you
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
 * A commercially sharp, data-focused, and passionate about eCommerce marketplaces mindset.
 * The ability to thrive on ownership, balance daily execution with strategic thinking, and deliver exceptional digital experiences.
 * Marketplace management experience with strong commercial results (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Debenhams, Argos).
 * Proven P&L and trading accountability, including B-grade or outlet channels.
 * Hands-on supply chain and inventory planning expertise.
 * Strong data skills using BI/reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, PowerBI).
 * Skilled relationship builder and negotiator with both internal and external partners.
 * Excellent organiser—comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
 * Experienced in content optimisation, campaigns, and digital operations.
 * Capable working independently but highly collaborative.
 * Experience with integration platforms (Rithum, Mirakle) is an advantage.
 * Curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset.
 * Premium brand or high-expectation environment experience.
 * Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Adobe Analytics, Magento, etc.).
