Job Description
3. Prepare and review group consolidated financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
4. Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and internal policies.
5. Provide technical accounting guidance to internal stakeholders.
6. Support the audit process, liaising with external auditors and resolving queries.
7. Analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
8. Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
9. Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure accurate reporting.
10. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Consolidation and Technical Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
12. Strong knowledge of group consolidation processes and financial reporting standards.
13. Experience in the energy and natural resources industry is advantageous.
14. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
