Why we're hiring: This role will have end to end accountability and responsibility for all aspects of Production PR and Specialist Agencies (PPS) TechOps across the cluster’s operating companies. Included are all aspects of the support required, managing agile teams in a matrix that can deliver and maintain services and solutions to the business and supporting WPP ET ’s operational and transformation priorities. What you'll be doing: Form and execute the Enterprise Technology operations strategy within PPS, in line with the overarching Technology Operations and WPP ET strategy. Liaise with Cluster Directors, Senior Director of Tech Ops, and wider Tech Ops management team to translate business priorities into ET initiatives. Identify technology opportunities to boost business processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation. Manage the Tech Ops budget for optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness. Manage day-to-day operations of all PPS cluster Tech Operations including cloud, infrastructure, network, and overall support. Strong focus on transformation initiatives, vulnerability management and driving efficiency. Deliver secure, reliable, high-quality Tech Operations services and reporting to ensure that all services meet defined SLAs and performance targets. Balancing the demands and priorities of branding with the available resourcing across the regional teams Drive improvement initiatives to optimise and enhance service quality while reducing overall costs. Lead a team of professionals in a matrix, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Set goals, provide direction, and empower team members to maximise their potential. Mentor and coach team members in technical skills and leadership. Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders including business leaders, ET colleagues, and external vendors. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on ET operations, projects, and initiatives. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Good relationship building, collaboration and influencing skills in a matrix organization with ability to operate at CxO level and with senior ET & non-ET stakeholders. Ability to manage people in a matrix orientated environment with onshore, offshore and multiple 3rd party delivery environment. Good financial & commercial awareness and proven ability in being able to translate financial data into business activities and conclusions. Demonstrable decision making, problem-solving, lateral thinking and analytical skills Strategic thinker with a strong operational background, possessing a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, service delivery. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, databases, and cloud technologies. Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks.
