Salary: GBP49,000 + Overtime
Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, 11am‑11pm

Role and Responsibilities
* Responsible for reactive and planned maintenance across all areas of engineering: manufacturing, production, site services, infrastructure, and plant equipment.
* Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules effectively and efficiently.
* Work on high‑speed production and packaging lines.
* Involved with site project work: installations and upgrades to machinery.
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
* Deal with pneumatics, motors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, drives, hydraulics, compressors.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Multi‑skilled maintenance engineer: ideally electrical biased.
* City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualified in engineering as a minimum requirement.
* Completed a time‑served apprenticeship.
* Experience in a similar fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
* PLC electrical fault finding skills.
* Able to work to time‑sensitive breakdowns and repairs.
* Experience working on structured PPMs, independently or as part of a team.
* Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer type conditions.
* Mechanical fabrication, fitting, welding, machining skills beneficial.
