Electrical Technician – Leading Distribution Business
Salary: £60,000 (+ Bonus up to 10%)
Shift: Panama – 2s and 3s (Days and Nights)
Location: London Gateway Port, Stanford-le-Hope
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading distribution business at London Gateway Port. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within a large-scale logistics facility.
Skills Required for the Electrical Technician:
Recognised electrical qualification (Min NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3)
Experience with electrical maintenance, installations, and fault-finding
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Ability to carry out maintenance on Inverters
Experience with PLC Systems – Fault Finding
MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING AT HEIGHTS
Duties of the Electrical Technician:
Electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within a busy distribution centre
Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise downtime
Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards
Working on single and three-phase systems
