Locum Consultant in Neurology

This advert recruits a Locum Consultant Neurologist to join a Dorset‑wide Neurology team. The post will be primarily based at Poole Hospital and the successful candidate will work in partnership with the substantive consultant team running clinics across Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Dorset County Hospitals. Together we deliver a full range of Neurology services to Dorset residents and parts of neighbouring counties. We work closely with MDTs of specialist nurses and therapists in different neurology specialties, and with neurophysiology colleagues.
Main duties
The main purpose of the post is to support the provision of highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement. The appointee will undertake clinics at Poole Hospital and may be required to cover the service at other sites as the post evolves.
Qualifications
* MRCP (UK) or an equivalent qualification
* Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Neurology or potential for CCT in the next 6‑12 months
Experience
* Satisfactory training in Neurology

* Wide knowledge of Neurology
