Senior Insight Manager London Based - Hybrid working As a Senior Insight Manager you will be responsible for developing commercial insight for Blis. You will be a champion for research, analysis and measurement, providing evidence-based insights that will drive actions within our - and our clients’ - businesses. Working across both internal and external stakeholders, this role is responsible for creating commercial opportunities through new and existing research, presenting compelling arguments that empower the sales and activation team to plan, deliver and optimise media campaigns. This role will be supporting sales reps across global markets with a primary focus on UK based clients. You will report to the Insight Lead (UK & International) and be based in London. Relationships & Key Responsibilities Sales - ensure research and insight are integrated in our responses to media briefs and proactive proposals. Insight - share best practice, contribute to Thought Leadership projects and collaboration on blog content / white papers / industry events. Measurement - provide market support for measurement of campaign performance to optimise future activity e.g. brand lift, sales lift studies. Marketing - develop case studies to use for PR, and contribute to local or pan-market collateral. Client Services - where appropriate, ensure campaigns are set-up in a way that will deliver actionable outputs for our clients. Agencies / Clients - take brief, create client research pieces and run audience analysis, and debrief when required. Expectations Blis data is accessed via our own proprietary platform, so all training will be provided. Champion our space, understanding what competitors are doing and how you can help further enhance Blis’ reputation. Manage and design research studies across your markets, using country-specific insights to direct your thinking. Identify opportunities where Blis’ audience data is a good fit with the needs of advertisers and brands. Develop creative uses of our data which deliver insight into consumer behaviour. Educate the Sales team on audience insights to make the best use of data in media recommendations. Manage local research partner relationships where applicable, e.g. OnDevice, Kantar. Skills and Requirements Analysis - setting up tests within the Blis platform, and working directly with the data. Management of full service projects from inception through to completion, keeping stakeholders suitably informed throughout. Self-motivated, and operates well on their own initiative - essential as part of a growing team away from HQ. Understanding of how the media & advertising landscape is evolving and ability to develop strategies to reach clients audiences. Ability to translate data into actionable insights - incorporating Blis data into the wider context of consumer behaviour, industry challenges, and client objectives. Ability to present audience analysis in a compelling way, and in a manner that engages stakeholders of all seniority levels and group sizes. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively in a complex, fast-paced business environment. The Candidate Open-minded and curious individual, interested in consumer behaviour, decision-making, the impact of macro factors on household or individual everyday lives, industry news etc. 4 years’ experience in a research and/or analytics environment. Experience working in advertising or media is preferred but not essential. Experience with quantitative research methodologies and analysis with the ability to cut through the data and present the key findings in a simple way that generates clear implications and recommendations for action. A client-facing role, requiring internal and external stakeholder management to build relationships and be comfortable discussing client requirements, balancing these alongside technical and practical constraints.
