The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will support pupils’ learning in literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects while fostering independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours. You will work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure all pupils receive consistent and personalised support.
You will monitor pupil progress, provide targeted interventions where required, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, engagement, and confidence. Your contribution will be key in helping pupils build strong foundations as they progress through Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
* Deliver engaging literacy, numeracy, and foundation subject lessons
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
* Maintain a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records
* Provide targeted interventions to support pupil attainment
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
* Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives
* Support enrichment activities, school events, and extra-curricular opportunities
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
