Product Designer
We’re working with a fast-paced, global business that designs and supplies comfort and care products for passengers and patients across the travel and healthcare sectors. Their products are seen and used by millions of people worldwide, and the company is recognised for innovation, quality, and attention to detail.
The Role
As a Product Designer, you’ll bring creative ideas to life — from concept and prototype through to finished product. You’ll design products that are functional, visually appealing, and aligned with brand and market goals. Working closely with development, engineering, and business teams, you’ll ensure designs are manufacturable, sustainable, and deliver an exceptional user experience.
You’ll work on a variety of physical and digital products — from tableware and textiles to accessories and soft goods — and play a key role in shaping new design concepts that elevate comfort, usability, and style across global transport and care environments.
What You’ll Do
* Conduct user and market research to identify needs and trends
* Create sketches, models, and prototypes to visualise product ideas
* Collaborate with internal teams to align design direction with manufacturing and business goals
* Test and iterate concepts based on feedback and usability studies
* Ensure designs meet cost, quality, and sustainability targets
* Stay ahead of design, material, and technology trends to keep products market-leading
What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related discipline
* Around 2–3 years of product design experience, ideally with both physical and digital products
* Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design and prototyping
* Skilled in Rhino (or similar CAD), Adobe Creative Suite, and Keyshot
* Creative flair balanced with practical design-for-manufacture knowledge
* Understanding of UX/UI principles and sustainability in design
