The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day.
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, offering clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards in Boots.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Maintaining efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have.
We offer an exciting career opportunity. You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser.
Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required. If not completed, we will support your training within 6 months of joining.
We also support your development towards NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services to become eligible for registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. As you progress, your pay and benefits will reflect your development.
