What You'll Do
* Drive the manufacture, modification, and testing of our innovative products and prototypes
* Collaborate with design engineers to support the development and continuous improvement of Iceotope’s cooling solutions
* Assemble and test cutting-edge Iceotope products with precision, following engineering drawings and high-quality standards
* Lead operation and maintenance of workshop machines to ensure efficient production cycles
* Develop work instructions and SOPs as needed, helping to scale and improve manufacturing processes
* Train Iceotope staff and contractors manufacturers on product assembly and best practices
* Support test rig development alongside the testing team
* Follow all safety and quality protocols to minimise waste and maintain a safe working environment
Who You Are
* Experienced with 5+ years as a Mechanical Technician, particularly in machine shop environments
* Skilled in mechanical systems, fabrications, CNC milling, and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD files
* Familiar with G-code programming, CNC setup, tool selection, and precision measurement tools
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
* Enthusiastic about adapting to new technologies and manufacturing innovations
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of SolidWorks CAD/CAM software
* Experience with PCB and cable assembly
