We are a welcoming and ambitious school in the heart of Sutton. We are looking to recruit a friendly person with a positive and forward thinking attitude to join our well-supported team supervising the children in school during their lunchbreak. You will need to be a good time keeper, confident and able to work with children with varying needs, a good communicator and a team-player. You will ideally have experience of working with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity and there is a good induction process in place to welcome the successful candidate into our school and this important role.
In December 2022, Ofsted reported that "Pupils are delighted to be a part of this school. They see it as a warm, welcoming place where they feel that they belong. Pupils said it is like being part of a big family. Pupils are kept safe."
WHAT WE OFFER
Term-time - 5 days per week, 11.55am – 1.30pm

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
1. a proven ability to work on their own initiative.
2. a keen eye for detail
3. knowledge of basic health and safety and first aid
4. a good level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
5. a positive attitude to the work
6. a commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
Salary: £28,211pa pro-rata to term time working, Approx. £15.03 per hour
Hours worked: 7.92 hours per week - working pattern is from 11.55am to 1.30pm
Weeks worked: 38 weeks term time + paid termly staff meetings/training
Start Date: ASAP, subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances
