Your goal is to help these individuals overcome barriers to employment by offering personalized support, advice, advocacy, and guidance. You are proactive in developing action plans and motivational strategies to assist job seekers in achieving sustainable employment and improved well-being. What the Job Involves The role involves collaborating with job seekers to break down employment barriers and facilitate a smooth transition into the workforce through case management and professional guidance. You will deliver employability support through recognized models like IPS and SEQF, work in partnership with various local agencies, and organize and conduct workshops and recruitment events. You are responsible for maintaining client records, monitoring progress, and producing regular reports to track outcomes. Skills Experience in a recruitment or employment advisory environment Knowledge of the Welfare to Work benefits system Proficient in using ICT packages, particularly Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills to manage complex caseloads Understanding of employment barriers and relevant support legislation Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to develop effective working relationships with partners
