Level 2 Learning Support Assistant – Telford, Shropshire
Protocol Education is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shrewsbury to recruit a dedicated Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to support pupils within Key Stage 2.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in children’s education. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, and committed to promoting an inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to pupils in KS2, including one-to-one and small group interventions
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering learning activities
* Adapt support based on individual student needs, particularly those with additional learning needs
* Contribute to a calm and productive classroom environment
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
* Understanding of or experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
