Your Role
As Engineering Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind our maintenance operations, ensuring continuous support to the Management and Production teams. Your mission:
* Boost Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
* Hit and exceed Maintenance KPIs
* Champion best-in-class standards across the board
You'll take full accountability for all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities on your shift, while coordinating programmed tasks for the next team. Safety, environmental compliance, and performance targets will be your benchmarks for success.
Health, Safety & Environment
* Operate to the highest standards in line with Heidelberg Materials' Health & Safety and Environmental Plans.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives with the Site Engineer.
* Ensure compliance with risk assessments, safe systems of work, permits to work, and statutory regulations.
Contractor & Compliance Management
* Organise and supervise engineering/maintenance contractors during shift operations.
* Ensure all activities comply with legal and company standards.
Performance & KPI Delivery
* Drive OEE improvement from 60% to a sustained 90%+.
* Ensure maintenance schedule and work order compliance.
* Improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Operational Efficiency
* Support optimum production levels at minimal operational cost.
* Collaborate with production and technical teams to enhance efficiency and quality.
Business & Data Analysis
* Ensure accurate and relevant operational data is used to support business decisions and profit-enhancing opportunities.
Strategic & Continuous Improvement
* Promote CCA targets and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Support global KPI data collection and reporting.
Team & Resource Management
* Ensure maintenance teams are well-resourced, trained, and competent.
* Maintain assets to meet business plan objectives.
Systems & Controls
* Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for task prioritisation and KPI tracking.
* Assist with operational controls including Capex and revenue spend.
Shift & Maintenance Coordination
* Ensure effective handovers between shifts.
* Collaborate with reliability teams to improve maintenance planning and scheduling.
* Maintain 5S standards and manage emergency breakdowns safely.
* Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for asset failures.
