Job Title: Broker Distribution Manager
Reporting to Angel’s Head of eTrade Strategy and Distribution, the Broker Distribution Manager will actively manage, expand, and acquire broker relationships. The role involves working with Underwriters in the Angel Underwriting team in Chelmsford to profitably grow the UK Specialty eTrade book of business.

Responsibilities include:
1. Managing and expanding broker relationships to support profitable sales growth and underwriting profitability targets.
2. Developing segmentation practices and account plans, providing insights into regional Brokers.
3. Strengthening relationships with brokers and developing a pipeline of opportunities using management information.
4. Transitioning and enhancing the UK eTrade Business performance in a changing marketplace.
5. Supporting the UK Business eTrade strategy collaboratively with stakeholders.
6. Enhancing Angel Risk Management and AXA XL Network reputation through marketing and innovative solutions.
7. Understanding broker needs and matching them with Angel’s expertise and solutions.
8. Working with underwriters to retain and grow books of business while maintaining high service levels.
9. Ensuring broker partners deliver services within line of business facilities.
10. Championing cross-selling to increase product density and sharing opportunities across business lines.
11. Maximizing opportunities within the broader AXA Group for client solutions and revenue synergies.
12. Being part of a high-performing team within Angel Leadership and Distribution.
Candidate profile:
* Experience in strategic development of UK eTrade Specialty business, client and broker functions.
* Proven sales, marketing, presentation, negotiation skills.
* Technical skills in CRM and data manipulation.
* Significant experience in underwriting, insurance operations, broking, or related fields.
* Knowledge of risk-managed programs, eTraded solutions, and Insurance Software House environment; familiarity with Specialty/Financial Lines is a bonus.
* Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
* Proactive, results-oriented, and eager to learn.
