Sancton Wood Nursery School is a nurturing, vibrant and inclusive early years setting dedicated to helping children thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for a warm, organised and professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our friendly team and be the welcoming face of our nursery on Thursdays and Fridays.
Your Role:
As our receptionist, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth daily running of the nursery. Responsibilities include:
* Greeting and assisting children, parents and visitors
* Answering phone calls and responding to email enquiries
* Managing entry and exit procedures in line with safeguarding policies
* Carrying out general administrative tasks to support the nursery team
* Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
About You:
We are seeking someone who is:
* Friendly, approachable and calm under pressure
* Highly organised with strong communication skills
* Confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office
* Experienced in a similar receptionist or admin role (experience in a school or nursery is desirable)
* Committed to maintaining a safe and professional environment for children and families
