Role Overview
Achieving for Children is seeking a committed Senior Social Worker to join the Support and Safeguarding Team in Windsor & Maidenhead. This is a frontline role within Social Care & Health Qualified, providing vital support to children, young people, and families. You will play a key role in safeguarding, assessment, and intervention, ensuring that children are protected and families receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake assessments and provide direct support to children, young people, and families
* Manage complex safeguarding cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
* Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to deliver effective interventions
* Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies
* Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely reporting
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory frameworks, and best practice
* Experience managing complex cases within children’s social care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to plan, prioritise, and work effectively under pressure
Assignment Details
* Start Date: 17 November 2025
* End Date: 15 February 2026
* Hours: 37 per week
* Shift Times: 08:45 – 17:15, Monday to Friday
Pay Rates
* PAYE: £31.91 per hour
* Umbrella/Ltd: £42.00 per hour
