This is a full‑time position covering the service between Monday – Friday core hours, to start ASAP for a 12‑month contract.

Scope of Work
Routine obstetric and gynaecology ward management and outpatient clinics with consultant supervision.
Postholders manage all normal pregnancies and deliveries, and receive supervised training in abnormal obstetrics and gynaecology.
Opportunities exist to develop skills and competencies at the registrar level under supervision.
Role Summary
Specialty Registrar duties in obstetrics and gynaecology, covering antenatal, postnatal and gynaecology wards, antenatal and gynaecology outpatient clinics, the Day Assessment and Triage Units, and the Early Pregnancy Unit. Ultrasound training is available and encouraged.
Key Duties
* Specialty Registrar responsibilities in both obstetrics and gynaecology
* Management of antenatal, postnatal and gynaecology wards
* Outpatient clinics in antenatal and gynaecology
* Day Assessment and Triage Units
* Early Pregnancy Unit duties
* Participation in theatre and rotation through the gynaecology oncology team
* Active participation in audit
* Specialist interest clinics: Obstetric Medicine, Fetal Medicine, Rapid Access Clinic, and Outpatient Hysteroscopy Clinics
Qualifications
Completion of at least two years of ST training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK (ST3 and above); proven proficiency in the management of all normal pregnancies and deliveries, with supervised training in abnormal obstetrics and gynaecology.
Opportunities for registrar level development under supervision are offered.
