Position Overview
The Assistant provides administrative support to a team of Partners within Bishopsgate Corporate Finance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general administrative and/or project-based work. The position may also require providing additional support to other members of the team as and when needs dictate. The individual must be prepared to "roll up their sleeves" across a variety of tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
* Screen incoming calls and greet guests in a professional and courteous manner
* Schedule and organize meetings and all related travel if required
* Prepare and edit relevant materials for team
* Allocate and process expenses for professionals, using the Xero expense management system
* Tracking and processing of invoices in Xero
* Manage work priorities independently
* Perform other related general administrative tasks for executives as assigned and required
* Organise team social events throughout the year, within budget
Experience
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment; demonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
* Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities – must demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude towards given tasks, plan ahead for potential issues and take appropriate action
* Exemplary interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive and confidential situations
* Superb written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail when composing and proofing materials required
* Working knowledge of office administrative procedures and operating standard office equipment
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and proficient in word and PowerPoint
* Experience in the finance industry is preferred but not required

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
